Name: Baek Yujin

Born in the Falkland Islands, Antarctica, Candy grew up in a quiet household as both her parents were deaf. Spending most of her home life using sign language, her parents didn't want to keep her from experiencing the world as a healthy and able individual. They encouraged her to play instruments and sing for them and never failed to make sure she was heard.
When she turned 10, she went to Canada to live with her aunt and signed up for ballet classes where she quickly excelled. And at 15, she moved with them to America where she furthered her dance skills by learning many different styles of dance but found her heart in hip hop as she choreographed many dances for her school's dance team.

She accompanied her friend to an audition and was encouraged to audition as well. After forgetting about it for a week, she received an acceptance email and moved to Seoul, South Korea where she became a trainee at Melody Records for 1 year before joining LYLAS.
Aisha
Name: Lee Aera
Born: December 4th, 2004
Age: 17
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Aisha was passionate about singing at a very young age. Her family was very supportive and loved whenever she sang at events. She became known in her community as "The Angel" and was heavily encouraged to pursue singing as a career so the entire world could hear her voice.
At 10 years old, Aisha and her family moved to New Zealand due to her father's new job. Her mother signed her up for singing classes and would help her record covers for her cover channel which quickly garnered many subscribers after only a few months. At 12, she joined a dance class to challenge herself and worked on becoming more than a singer, but instead a performer.

She applied to Melody Records through a global online audition and was accepted as a trainee. She trained for 3 years before joining LYLAS.
Rosey
Name: Hazel Blackburn
Born: June 27th 2005
Age: 17
Born in Perth, Australia, Rosey grew up with a close family. 3 older sisters and too many aunts and uncles to count. She was known to be a little fearless. Give her a random dare and she’ll do it. Although she was a little daredevil, she was pretty introverted. Not many people knew what she liked doing and her interest. But for the ones who did know her, they knew she loved music and planned to make her own.
At the age of 13, she started her own YouTube channel for singing and dancing covers, as well as taking dance and vocal lessons. Eventually, she started to get more comfortable performing in front of others, so she signed up for local events, put on shows for her friends and family, and posted her videos to the public eye.
After 2 years of being a youtuber, she wanted to do more with her musical career, so she joined a local group that did dance covers of different styles. One day, they started to do K-pop songs, which she wasn’t used to, but she loves trying new things. At one of the dance practices, one of the girls dared Hazel to audition for a company. Still being the daredevil she is, she auditioned for Melody Records. Unexpectedly, she passed, so it was a real shock to her family that she was going to leave for South Korea. Although she kept flying to another country alone a secret from her parents until the month of, her parents gave her their blessing as they knew she dreamed of having a music career since she was little. After moving to South Korea, she trained for 2 years and is making her debut as an official LYLAS member.
Violet
Name: Oh Violet
Born: September 5th, 2002
Age: 19
Born in Houston, Texas, Violet is no stranger to a competition of any sort. From a young age, she competed in school talent shows, beauty pageants, and sporting events. By age 7, she had a display case completely full of trophies. Her competitive nature made her feared by some but loved by many as she rose to stardom and even guest appearing on the news and even brushed the cover of some children's magazines.
Overall, Violet loved to compete in singing and rap competitions. Writing her own lyrics and performing them to crowds of hundreds made her feel like she belonged on stage even if she wasn't competing.
After placing 2nd at a singing competition, she was approached by a talent scout for Melody Records. At first, she was uncertain if she would take the opportunity but after thinking it over, she decided she will train under the company and moved to Seoul, South Korea where she trained for 4 and a half years before joining LYLAS.
Lorelai
Name: Song Lorelai
Born: March 18, 2004
Age: 18
Born in New York City, Lorelai had always been surrounded by music in her everyday life as the child of a broadway actress and a classical composer. She has always looked up to her parents and had their support in any musical endeavors.
At age 12, she started to sign up for singing events around the city. She found herself singing the national anthem for little league games and joined the theatre club at her school where she became a star among her peers.
After being introduced to the Korean music industry by a family friend and producer, she decided to take her chance and applied to the Melody Records global audition. She passed on her first try and left for Seoul, South Korea where she quickly picked up on the language after subtlety speaking it at home with her grandmother. She trained for 2 years before joining LYLAS.
