SOARIN' is a four-member boy band under Melody Records. They made their debut on the 17th of December in 2021. Since their debut, the members have formed a special bond and became a family. Always making jokes and goofing around with each other and always make their fans laugh with their silly antics. They hope to be a group that makes music people can relate to and puts a smile on their face.

Born in Puerto Rico, Midnight was always fascinated by the band CNBLUE and wanted to learn to play the guitar and be a famous rockstar. After moving to South Korea with his parents at 10, they could live a more stable lifestyle with their new jobs.
At 13, Midnight received his first guitar and taught himself how to play. Practicing night and day whenever he could until the books were worn out and his fingers were calloused. When he turned 16, his parents signed him up for dance classes so he could have a better chance at success with auditioning for idol companies.

He joined Melody Records in 2018 after he was scouted while busking and trained for 3 years before debuting with Soarin'.
NAYVIE
Name: Michael Foxx
Born: January 4th, 2004
Age: 19
Sub Vocalist, Keyboard
Born in Busan, South Korea Nayvie was juggled across the seas visiting his father working in the U.S and being home with his mother in Korea. When he was 8 years old, his father gifted him a keyboard which became his prized possession.
He moved to the U.S for 2 years at 16 and worked at a boba shop to help pay for his father's medication. To earn additional cash, he did busking in the street and quickly became a beloved face at storefronts and train stations.

After his father recovered, he moved back to Korea and continued busking where he drew large crowds with his singing and keyboard skills. One day he was approached by a Melody Records recruiter who promised him success. After a few tries he passed his audition and trained at Melody Records for 4 months before joining SOARIN'.
HANEUL
Name: Lee Haneul
Born: April 24, 2004
Age: 18
Main Vocal, Bass
Born in Ontario, Canada where he lived for 7 years before moving to Australia with his family. Haneul discovered his passion for music at 11 years old and started taking singing and bass lessons. Inspired by artists like BLACKPINK and Taylor Swift he decided to become a kpop idol and moved with his mother to her home country, South Korea.

At 14, he joined a cover group and passed an audition in a small company where he trained for a few months. After coming 2nd in a nationwide singing competition, he was scouted by Melody Records and became a trainee where he trained for 4 years before debuting in Soarin'.
KAI
Name: Jeung Kai
Born: March 25, 2006
Age: 16
Maknae, Lead Vocal, Sub Rapper, Rhythm Guitar
Born in Daejeon, South Korea, Kai was always a musical prodigy from a young age. His family moved to California when he was 3 where he resided for 8 years before returning to Korea.
He took dance classes at 11 years old for 4 years and learned guitar from his grandfather. He would often play songs for his younger sister when she was feeling sad.

He auditioned for Melody Records from an advertisement for an online audition and only trained for a day or two before joining Soarin' as a trainee.
JOON
Name: Kim Minjoon
Born: October 2, 2005
Main Rapper, Drums, Lead Vocal
Born in Miami, Florida; Joon has always been immersed in rap. By age 5 he knew he wanted to be a rapper and started writing and performing his raps. With the support of his older brother, he excelled and quickly rose in Miami's underground rap scene.

Despite his passion and talent for rapping, his parents weren't very accepting of his hobby. After moving to South Korea at 13 to be closer to family, his father signed him up for a music class to learn how to play the drums. Although he enjoyed playing the drums, a part of him desired to keep rapping even if he lacked support from his family.
​
After his final drum class, Joon and his brother snuck away to an underground rap competition in Seoul. Coming in 3rd place, Joon caught the attention of a Melody Records executive and was persuaded to join the company as a trainee.
After training for 6 months, Joon joined the lineup of SOARIN'.

Joon's contract was terminated on August 16th, 2021.
